I’m Sorry….

im sorry

How good it is to say sorry after a fight,

It is, for sure, as it makes you feel light.

It matters not who says it first,

Take the first step even if you are hurt.

Make them feel how much you love them,

They are precious to you more than any gem.

The moment you say the sorry word,

All problems fly away like a bird.

Egos clash, attitude comes in the way,

But love after fight is like the morning sun ray.

If you have pledged to live life together,

Then why do you let such petty things bother.

Love is all about sacrificing for each other,

Keep a big heart and make bond as strong as leather.

Its not a small decision to choose your special someone,

Be for them, and they be for you in life’s all seasons.

sorry

Isn't it nice when someone makes you feel special..?

What is the best feeling in the world… what is that feeling when someone makes you happy, when someone makes you delightful, when someone makes you cry out of joy, when you feel belongingness, when you feel liked, when you feel admired, when you feel loved, when you feel special??? I’m sure you have felt special by someone in your life. Your mom makes you feel special when she has your favourite pudding ready when you return home, your dad makes you feel special when he plans a vacation to a destination you had longed to go to, your sibling makes you feel special when he/she cuddles you after a fight, your grand parents makes you feel special when they bless you with their blessings, your friends makes you feel special when they make you the star of your friends’ night out, your boy friend makes you feel special when he…………..??!?!!!???!?!

… when he brings you flowers, when he sends you a cuddly good night message, when he boasts about you in the presence of his friends, when he gives a call in the morning, at noon, in the evening, at dinner, at night :) , when he surprises you by landing at your workplace/college, when he expresses his feelings in an email left in your inbox, when he sends a surprise gift in a courier, when he keeps a promise that he made to you, when he comes running to your place at the sound of a tear rolling down your cheek.

Its such a great feeling to be someone’s special. You know a person loves you unconditionally when he cannot see a tear in your eye or when his heart breaks on seeing you sad. Love is true when you look at him and he understands all that you want to say to him. It’s true when he keeps your promise even in extreme conditions. But, everyone in this world is not so lucky. There are many who have to ask for respect from their partners, there are those who make continuous sacrifices for their partner but get nothing in return, there are those who have no say in their partner’s life’s decisions.

Well, everyone has his share of cake.. some get chocolate truffle while some plain vanilla ~~~

Living in modern cities with high-rise buildings and fast-paced lives, we tend to miss out on the beautiful things that Mother Nature has to offer. We forget that we live in a world blessed with sights that are beautiful beyond words. In a span of 70 years of life, if we can visit at least 10 most amazing destinations in the world, I feel “Life as a Journey” would be complete. I have tried to make such a list of the most wonderful places on Earth, that I would like to visit before I die.

My Life in 2010

Hi friends, this is my first blog and I am going to tell you about my life in 2010.

Well, in January of the year 2010, I was a Software Engineer, working for a software giant Infosys in Bangalore. Yes, I lived in Bangalore with my family.
I was appearing for these various management entrance exams, and January was the month of application-filling. It was on March 8, that the most awaited result was to be announced, of a college i had hoped so badly, to get admission into. The result came out good and I was offered admission to Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai for their PGPM program (read MBA). The very next day, I put in my papers in my company and 15th April was my last day in Infy. The first half of April was full of nostalgia and walking down the memory lane, and the latter half was full of excitement, anxiety, a little bit of fear, but happiness. It wasn't easy to leave behind what you had lived in the past 3 years, my family, my friends, Infosys, Bangalore, and everything I was connected to. But, as I had always wished, I WAS GOING FOR MY MBA, FINALLY!!!!

And here I land on 25th April at the Great Lakes Institute of Management in Chennai. The first few days went by meeting new people, networking, knowing your peers. Slowly, and steadily we made new friends, got adjusted to the new system. And then started the grill. Classes, and more classes, and assignments, pre-reads, case studies, presentations, study groups, and mid term exams, end term exams...oh man!! There were people whom you liked, and there were those you couldn't stand. Some were helpful and friendly, while some so mean and arrogant. I wouldn't lie when I say that there were a few moments when I wished I could go back to my city and my work, but fortunately, I met some beautiful people too... and the one with whom I gelled so well was (is) Tripti. Thanks sweety for being such an adorable friend. As months started to pass by, we got a little more comfortable and adjusted to the system. Manashi joined the group and with my two best buddies, the place started to feel a little warm.

Well, now its October, my 6th month here, and 4th term out of 7, and I am enjoying my MBA. Its hardwork, but a lot of fun too. The assignments, classes and quizzes are still as hectic as before, but you just get used-to to the grill. The campus feels like a second home now, and everyone is connected to each other. Placements are round the corner, and so are the festivals. I am sure, this place is gonna get better and better as the days pass by, and everyone is going to have so much fun during the festivals.
